He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Downs and Ethel Downs; his wife Juanita; his children, David Downs and Kimberly Workman-Downs; his daughter-in-law Deborah Downs; his brother Richard Downs; and his siblings-in-law, Donald, Dale Cole and Mary Lou Cole.
He is survived by: his son Terry Downs; his granddaughters, Nicole, Heather Workman, Holly and Amanda Anderson; his great grandchildren, Katie, Julie Anderson and Kimber Lynn Teremy; and his sister Joanne Downs Fuller.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home (624 Cherry St E, Canal Fulton, OH 44614). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
