With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita H. Polacek of Barberton, Ohio, born in Bayonne, New Jersey, who passed away on May 31, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Myron Symanski and Wanda Symanski. She is survived by: her husband Joseph; her brother Henry Symanski (Carole); her children, Michael (Sharon), Joe (Georgia), David (Joy), Valerie Polacek and Mary Jo Prager; her grandchildren, Cathy Polacek, Emily Griffin (James), Ty Prager, Josy Rufener (Treg), Joseph Polacek (Nina Little) and Brooke Polacek; her great grandchildren, Dylan, McKenna, Rosalie and Graham; and her brother Richard Symanski (Mary Lou). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Barberton Area Community Ministries or Prince of Peace Church.
