Regina M. Genet Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Regina M. Genet of Barberton, Ohio, who passed away on December 15, 2024 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John; her parents, Helen Buchanan and Eltas Buchanan; her grandchildren, Paul and Laura Yurchiak; her son-in-law Frank Yurchiak; her daughter Maureen; her son-in-law Robert Dudley; and her siblings, Mary Lou Enlow, Glen and Robert Buchanan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Yurchiak, Dianne Boyle (John), Mary Moutschka (William) and Barbara Moss (David); her sister Rita Strickler; and her brother-in-law Joseph Genet. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 30 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home (1199 Wooster Rd W, Barberton, OH 44203). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (204 6th St NW, Barberton, OH 44203).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Augustine Endowment Fund, the American Diabetes Association.
