She was predeceased by: her husband Robert G. Simpkins; her brother Donald F. Eckenrode; and her sister-in-law Carole Eckenrode of Wadsworth, OH.. She is survived by: her daughters, Janet D. Dye (Timothy) and Linda J. Wise Eldersburg, MD (Robert); her grandchildren, Kenny Wise (Ryan), Bobby Wise (Tricia) and Elisabeth Collins (Adam); her son John H.; her stepson Robert B. Simpkins; her stepgrandchildren, Chase Simpkins, Davis Simpkins and Bryson Simpkins; her children, Rebekah, Scott, Elizabeth and Benn; her stepson Richard D. Simpkins Louisville (Amy); and her stepgrandchildren, Morgan Simpkins and Daniel Simpkins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Copley United Methodist Church (1518 S Cleveland Massillon Rd, Akron, OH 44321).
