Nettie Lucille Phillips Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nettie Lucille Phillips (Barberton, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 22, 2025 at the age of 95. As we bid Nettie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Nettie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her former husbands, Robert Goshorn and Jay Phillips. She is survived by: her sons, Victor Goshorn and Robert Goshorn; her stepchildren, John Phillips, Marilyn Gordon and Steven Phillips; and her close friends, Robert and Linda Martin.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Barberton (636 W Park Ave, Barberton, OH 44203). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273).
