He is survived by: his spouse Andrea Nagy; his daughter Rose Vanatta (Abernathy); his grandchildren, Bailey and Kennedy Vanatta; his son Greg Laney; and his siblings, Catherine McDowell (Randy), Juanita Fitch, Brenda Sherman (Billy) and Randy Honeycutt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
