He was predeceased by: his wife Sally; and his siblings, Helen "Rose" Williams, Darrell "Fred" Powell, Gloria Cosgrove and Bonnie Clevenger.
He is survived by: his son Robert "Bob" Jernigan; his grandchildren, Rob Jernigan (Katie) and Lynett Caplinger (Brian); and his great grandchild Maria Caplinger. He is also survived by nieces, nephews; other relatives and many friends.
