He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Sr. and Frances; and his siblings, Natalie Muren (Henry), Veronica Neal (Skip) and Stephen Trenta.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Trenta (Schank) of Wadsworth; his children, Michael Trenta, Jennifer Stedman (James) and Kelly Daw (Matthew); his grandchildren, Ever, Emma, Elizabeth, Ryan, Molly and Joey; his siblings, Louis Jr. (Micki), Gerald (Lynn), Richard (Linda), Mark (Toni), Raymond (Kathy), Lawrence (Mary), Paul (Nannette), Constance Trenta, Mary Kay Hartman (Don) and Nora Jane Perino (Richard); and his sister-in-law Margaret "Margo" Trenta. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
