She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Carpenter and Nora Carpenter; and her siblings, Charles, Marvin, Carl (Junior), Lori, Blanche and Erma.

She is survived by: her children, Kimmie Moore and James Hill (Malia); her grandchildren, Ty, Andresen, Magnus and Giselle; and her brother Homer. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
