He was predeceased by: his father James W.. He is survived by: his sons, James C. II (Jade) and Patrick; his mother Joan Fisher; and his brothers, Jack (Denise), Rouk (JoEtta) and Jay (Sherri).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prince of Peace Church.
