He was predeceased by: his parents, George Smith and Alma Smith. He is survived by: his children, Hunter, Kimberley (Paul), Christine (Paul) and Joyce (Robert); his significant other Kathy; his son Rick (Christine); and his brother Ronald (Carole). He is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
