He was predeceased by: his father Robert Wallace Wiant, Sr.; his siblings, Robert W. Wiant, Jr., Richard D. Wiant, Betty Ann Preston and Harold Arthur Wiant; and his siblings-in-law, Harold E. Pletcher, Jr., Bonnie Wiant and Darlene Wiant.
He is survived by: his wife E. June Davis; his siblings, Joan Pletcher of Clarion, PA, John Wiant of Clarion, PA, David W. Menge (Pat) and Paul Wiant (Sue) of Lompoc, CA; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Wiant of Marble, PA, Diana Wiant of Fairlawn, OH and Ed Preston of Clarion, PA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Barberton High School Athletic Department.
