He was predeceased by: his father Harry F. Palmer Jr.; and his brother-in-law Don Rawlings. He is survived by: his mother Linda Palmer (Groff); his wife Susan (Williams); his son Bryan Palmer; his daughter-in-law Mea; his stepgrandson Seirys; and his siblings, Laurie Rawlings, Doug Palmer (Beth) and Kathy Palmer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Valor Home of Akron, which is a transitional housing program for homeless veterans (Valor Home of Akron, 1121 Exeter Street, Akron, Ohio 44306).
