He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. and Irene; and his wife Ann. He is survived by: his daughters, Elissa Young, Robin Harris, Cindy Goda (Paul) and Cathy Johnston; his grandchildren, Chris Young (Mari), Brian Young, Melissa Nelson (Scott), Sarah Wittmann (JT), Jennifer Johnston, Kyle Johnston and Michael Goda (Bailey); and his sister Virginia Cassely. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Barberton Salvation Army or Hospice of the Western Reserve.
