With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Blackburn of Barberton, Ohio, born in Cottageville, West Virginia, who passed away on September 21, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Everett and Hattie Blackburn; and his sisters, Ruby Blackburn and Ethel Pickins. He is survived by: his wife Rosa May; his children, Jeff, Mark (Becky), Brent Blackburn (Babette "Babz") and Rosemary Spinell (Steve); and his sister Opal Abbott. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
