He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Roberts and Evelyn Street Roberts; his wife Rosemarie Gatti Roberts; his sons, Robert I. Roberts Jr. and Jason Roberts; and his siblings, Sue Roberts, Frank Roberts and Ellen "Sis" Schroeder.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Rebecca Giesey (Dillion); his daughter-in-law Heidi Roberts (Jason Palmer); and his brother Jim Roberts.
