He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert K. George and Mary C. Friesner George; his former wife Edith Miller George; his wife Bernice Oliver George; his siblings, Clarence "Abe" George (Marveen), Herbert George (Jean) and Esther Gordon (George); and his sister-in-law Kay George.

He is survived by: his children, Penny West, Bonnie Nash (Roger), Pam George and Kenneth R. George; and his brother Robert L. George. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 6 grandchildren.
