He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Barte and Flora Barte (Courts); his wife Betty Lou Barte (King); his children, Charles Barte and Smokey Lynn Bare; his grandson Cristen Barte; and his sister Wanda Lee Sinsabaugh.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Barte (Debbie), Trent Barte (Denise) and Cheri Hodgkinson; and his grandchildren, Caroline, Nicholas, Christopher Barte, Tawni, Teryn, Trina Shull, Joe Dixon and Jennifer Cosner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The military honors will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Union Evanglical Cemetery (10640 Snyder Church Rd NW, Baltimore, OH 43105).
