He is survived by: his daughter Paula Smith (Tim); his grandsons, Andy Smith (Ashley McDowell) and Alex Smith (Haley); his stepchildren, Georgina Ruth (Rick), David Schmelzer (Ava), Kevin Schmelzer (Teresa), Cort Schmelzer (Melissa), Brianna Flint, Darlene Yenrick (Michael) and Loren Schmelzer (Pam); his brother Jerry Sheets (Jeannette); and his close friend Elizabeth Shull. He is also survived by step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren.
