She was predeceased by: her husband George W. Waits, Sr.; her parents, John J. Tolliver and Helen Tolliver (Palmer); her sister Arlene Ruth Tolliver; and her daughter-in-law Debbie Lu Waits.
She is survived by: her children, George W. Waits, Jr. of Baltimore, Gregory Alan Waits (Stacey) of Texas, Gwen Worley (Bill) of Baltimore, Ohio and Gina Krasner (Glen) of Baltimore, Ohio; her grandchildren, Tina, Amber, Tabatha, James, Emi, Troy and Jennifer; and her brother John Robert Tolliver (Chris) of Newark. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
