She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Cummings and Lois Cummings (Basteman); and her husband Loel. She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Hunter (Richard), Erica Brownstein and Julie Ward; and her grandchildren, Brittney Caldwell, Nikki Ward, Amelia Brownstein, Becca Hunter and Nathan Brownstein. She is also survived by her canine companion "Buddy" and several cats.
