He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Mathias and May Kane Mathias; his daughter Cathi Mathias; and his son-in-law Jack Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Mary G. Mathias; his children, Christi Hicks and Craig Mathias (Brenda); his grandchildren, Kyle, Kara, Kori Hicks, Shelby Sparks (Scott) and Garrett Mathias; his great grandchildren, Brecken and Bennett Schenkel; and his siblings, Donna Jean Webb, Ronald Mathias and Paul Mathias. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his grand dogs.
