She was predeceased by: her father James Dotson; and her brother Jimmy. She is survived by: her husband Larry Compton; her children, Keith Compton (Shirley), Michele Vaughan and Jeffrey Compton; her granddaughter Aimee Vaughn; and her sister-in-law Vadie Compton.
