It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Estep Sr. of Baltimore, Ohio, who passed away on December 18, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, C. W. Estep and Lexie Estep (Phillips); his son Jimmy Estep; and his siblings, Freelin Estep, Ford Estep, David Estep and Gusta Estep.

He is survived by: his wife Lois Estep; his children, Kristal Estep and Matthew Estep (Kay); his daughter-in-law Becky Estep; his siblings, Charles Estep, Maxine McKenzie and Helen Adams; his grandchildren, James Robert Estep (Rob), Bethani Estep and Makayla Estep; and his great grandchild Rishi Kolhapure. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends, and other family members.

“Brother James was a faithful member of Heritage Baptist Church, Canal Winchester, Ohio for many years until his son Jimmy went to be with the Lord. We often teased him about his Feb. 29 birthday. But how unique that he was born into this world and went to his home in heaven in a leap year also! He would come to visit our church now and then, knowing he was always welcome.
