He was predeceased by: his son Daniel; his son-in-law Roy Yoder; his grandson Allen Yoder; and his siblings, Sylvanus Jr., Eli Jr. and Katie Ann.
He is survived by: his wife Lovina Troyer; his daughters, Roy Hershberger (Ada), Sara Ann Yoder of Millersburg, Eli Hershberger (Clara) of Baltic, Vernon Hershberger (Esther) of Sugarcreek and Mary Raber (Daniel) of Sugarcreek; and his siblings, Amanda Nisley (Jonas) of Danville, Dena Yoder of Millersburg, Edna Troyer of Baltic and Mose Hershberger (Mary) of Sugarcreek. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren; 82 great grandchildren.
