He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl "Dutch" and Esther Renner (Omstead); and his siblings, Dennis Renner (Janet), Annabelle Zedi (Charley), Harold Renner (Joyce), Margaret Irene Renner, Alverna Flaherty, Donna Trasse and Betty Burgan (Archie).
He is survived by: his children, David Renner, Jr. (Robine) of New Philadelphia, Mary Ann LeMonte (Robert) of Dennison, Judy Kiko (Patrick) of Sugarcreek and Cindy Yoder (Kelly) of Baltic; and his sister Linda Brown (Jon) of Sugarcreek. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
