He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Carl and Ruth Bernice Gusse (Borgman); his wife Elizabeth "Liz" Joan Hagen; and his stepson Johnny Smith. He is survived by: his children, Kirk Gusse (Carlene) of Hawaii, Craig Gusse of California and Jori Anglin; his stepchildren, Laura Widmayer (Jerry) of Chillicothe, Paula Toenniges of Hillsboro and Donald Toenniges of Georgia; his grandson Colton Lewis of Hillsboro; and his brother John Robert Gusse of California. He is also survived by great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
