He was predeceased by: his father John Jacob VanGundy; his wife Sayward VanGundy (Ryder); and his son Wyatt VanGundy. He is survived by: his mother Darlene VanGundy (Hunt); his children, Jordy VanGundy (Katie), Tia Portis (Carlos), Cody, Sophia and Christopher VanGundy; his grandchildren, Noah, Benny, Hailey, Connor VanGundy, Evon and Mia Portis; his sister Crystal Samsel (Darryn); and his close friend Josh Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
