It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Welkener in Bainbridge, Ohio, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on November 30, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Welkener and Marie C. Welkener (Lemand); and his sisters, Shirley Halbman and Arlene Hubbard. He is survived by: his wife Irene Welkener (Weller); his children, Michele Welkener and John Welkener, Jr. (Terri); his granddaughter Katelyn Welkener; and his siblings, Jean Walker, Elaine Ransom, Carol Halbert (Junior) and Leonard Welkener (Cinda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
