He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Huff and Lakie Caldwell Wooton; his wife Carolyn Wooten; his children, Timothy Wooten and Shirley Wooten; his brothers, William Monroe Wooton and Mack Wooton; and his granddaughter Teresa Gail King Wooton.
He is survived by: his close friend Evelyn Cook; and his grandchildren, James Wooten, Tisha Emrick (Jonathon), Tanesha Ferryman (Alex), Dillon and Davis. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
