He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Penrod and Rosetta Cochenour Penrod; his wife Virginia E. Hixon; and his brothers, Ronald and Howard Penrod.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Penrod (Carrie), Karen Zeisler, Rocky Penrod and David Penrod; his sisters, Shirley Martin and Judith Legg; and his sister-in-law Emma Penrod. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren.
