It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberta M. Alten of Avon, Ohio, born in Harrisville, West Virginia, who passed away on March 9, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Sylvester (Jim); and her parents, Shirley Wilson and Geraldine Wilson. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Alten of North Ridgeville, Kevin Alten (Brenda) of Bath, Debora Eckert (Kurt) of Sheffield Village, Brad Alten (Karen) of Columbia Station, Sandra Maddock (Harold) of Columbia Station and Melissa Bartlett (Brent) of Copley; her stepchildren, Cheryn Houston (Tom) of Dublin and James Alten of Avon Lake; and her siblings, Dennis (Shirley) of Cincinnati, Betty of Washington, D. C. and James (Brenda) of North Ridgeville. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
