He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Chal; his parents, Robert Chal and Leonarda Chal; and his grandson Pete. He is survived by: his daughter Christine Conwell (Ronald) of Avon; his grandsons, Robert and Timothy; and his siblings, Marilee Stang, Thomas Chal (Mary) and Jack Chal (Paula). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
