We are sad to announce that on May 26, 2023, at the age of 98, Philomena Ivancic (Avon, Ohio), born in Lorain, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth DiFilippo and Vincent DiFilippo; her husband William Ivancic; and her siblings, Victor DiFilippo, Angela Terry, Clement DiFilippo and Columbo DiFilippo.

She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Bixler (Jeff), William (Bonnie) and Mark (Susan); and her grandchildren, Rob Bixler (Andrea), Christie Mullen (Matt), David Bixler (Liz), Mark Bixler (Rachel), Megan Kasper (Greg), Nick Ivancic (Charlotte), Audrey Ingersoll (Paul), Rachael Rosenblum (Eric), Kate Ivancic (Brian Stanford), Ryan Ivancic (Lindsay) and Matt Ivancic. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.

Memorial tributes may be sent to St. Vincent de Paul Church, Elyria or Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio, Lorain.
