She was predeceased by: her children, Robert "Butch" Hutchison and Karen Gavel; her grandson R. Jeremy Hutchison; her great grandchild Nathan Denune; and her parents, Raymond Hayes and Dorothy Hayes.

She is survived by: her husband Stanley J. Gavel; her children, Kathy Matney (Toby), Tina Rouanzoin (Randy), Ed Hutchison (Lisa), Ron Gavel (Janine) and Lori Kline (Jason); her daughter-in-law Roberta Hutchison; and her sister Marie Carlos. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
