He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill Shaw and Geraldine Shaw; and his brothers, Leon and Lewis. He is survived by: his niece Barbara Matthews; his nephew Kenny Shaw; his cousin Patty Anne Stone-Laughman of Pennsylvania; and his friends, Scott, Pattie, Christina, Anthony and Nancy.

In lieu of flowers, Larry requested that any donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
