She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Bateman and Mary Bateman Melton; and her stepfather Leonard Melton. She is survived by: her husband Michael Herbert; her daughter Karen Rowe (Kirk) of Los Gatos, CA; and her granddaughters, Molly Elizabeth and Hannah Ann.
