He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Hassel; his children, James Hassel (Amy), Todd Hassel, Annmarie Wallace (Bob) and Monica Mazur (Chris); his grandchildren, Tatem, Cullen, Evelyn, Griffin, Riley, Payton and Katelyn; and his siblings, Dave, Kathy, Connie, Mark and Marcia.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Misencik Funeral Home (36363 Detroit Rd, Avon, OH 44011). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (32929 Lake Rd, Avon Lake, OH 44012).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice of the Western Reserve or Muscular Dystrophy Association of Northeast Ohio.
