He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Diedrick and Sarah Diedrick; his siblings, John Diedrick and Mary Jane Eldridge; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Ferlic, Carol Ferlic, Barbara Diedrick and Flo Diedrick.

He is survived by: his wife Janice; and his brother Thomas Diedrick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Always in service to others, Lee volunteered his time at St. John Westshore Hospital and supported the Lorain County Blood Bank, donating platelets more than 300 times.
