He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce K. Plas; and his brother Robert Plas. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Plas (Carrie) and Jill Clements (Paul); his grandchildren, Kassie, Karlee, Kaylee, Kristie, Jerry and Samuel; his siblings, Jim Plas (Ruthanne), Dr. Joseph Plas and Paula Brumfield (George); and his sister-in-law Diane Balogas (Tom). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Avon VFW or the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
