He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Sabath and Mae Sabath (Chincharick); his wife Nancy; and his brother Donald. He is survived by: his children, Alison Smith of Charlotte, NC, Gary Sabath of Wakeman and Todd Sabath (Ady) of Avon Lake, OH; his grandchildren, Olivia Weinstock (Drew), Heather Baker (Josh), Kyle Smith, Brian Sabath, Daniel Sabath and Mary Bigenho; his great grandchild Witt Weinstock (Violet Baker); his brothers-in-law, Frank DePodesta of Fenton, MI and Kenneth Perrin of Novi, MI; and his in-laws, Frank and Alice DePodesta. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Busch Funeral Home (163 Avon Belden Rd, Avon Lake, OH 44012). A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:15 PM at the Sunset Memorial Park (6265 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070).
