He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; his parents, William Mayer and Pauline Mayer; his stepmother Oliva Mayer; and his brother Richard Mayer.
He is survived by: his children, Paula Boggs (late Randy), Roberta Muzik (Raymond), David Mayer (Karen) and Glen Mayer; his grandchildren, Katie Barrett (Dennis), Jerrod Boggs, Colleen Baldwin (Jacob), Matthew Muzik, Tyler Muzik (Rachel), Lucas Mayer, Max Mayer and Joshua Mayer; his great grandchildren, Owen Muzik and Elliott Barrett; his brother-in-law John Brown; and his niece Diane Wells.
