He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bommer and Mary Bommer; his wife Rosemary; his son Robert Jurasek; his grandsons, Edward and Jeff Jurasek; and his siblings, Evelyn Chapman, Rita Boone, Robert Bommer, Raymond Bommer, Aloysius Bommer, Donna Smith, William Bommer, Frank Bommer, Barbara Ladegaard and Anita Stockard.

He is survived by: his children, Joseph Jurasek and Jeanne Traxler (John); his granddaughters, Meredith Rodriguez (Andres), Lillian Gesicki (David) and Elizabeth Traxler; and his brother Charles Bommer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
