As Doris departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Doris may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Doris leaves behind.
She is survived by: her brother Jim Surbeck of Frankfort, Kentucky; her children, Becky Moldaver (Simon) of Cleveland, Carol Klun (Bill) of Cleveland and Gary (Helen) of Charlotte, N. C.; and her grandchildren, Jesse, Kate Schwab, Michael and Nathan Moldaver.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Busch Funeral Home (4334 Pearl Rd, Cleveland, OH 44109). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Brooklyn Heights United Church of Christ (2005 W Schaaf Rd, Cleveland, OH 44109).
