Though Despina may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Despina touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Spyros; and her siblings, Stamati Kalamaras (Mary) and Kiki Aivalioti (Stamati). She is survived by: her children, Tina Fouts (Joseph) and James Gemelas (Natalie); and her brother Konstantinos Kalamaras (Koula).
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Berry-McGreevey-Martens Funeral Home & Cremation Service (26691 Detroit Rd, Westlake, OH 44145). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 5:00 PM and on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
