He was predeceased by: his wife Hazel C. Brewer; and his son John R. Rock, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Burvin L. "Butch" Brewer (Karen), Ann Lanser (Mike) and Linda S. Korosi (Laszlo); and his grandchildren, John Rock, Jr. (Virginia), Tammy Archer (Matt), Christy Lanser, Tracy Hikes (Clint), Shannon Groesser (Eric), Michael Lanser, Jr. (Faith), Elizabeth Delfing and Samantha Delfing.
