William Higgins Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Higgins (Avon Lake, Ohio), who passed away on April 22, 2021 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Higgins and Mike Higgins; his sister Eileen; and his son-in-law Larry Forbes. He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Cheryl Updegraff (David), Candace Hendershot (Jack), Claudia Forbes and William; and his grandchildren, Kimberly Updegraff (Derek Sovchik), Keith Updegraff (Karin), Katie Lopez (Louie), Mike Hendershot (Abby), Andy Hendershot (Cadi), Jason Forbes (Myrna), Chad Forbes (Melissa) and Ashley Forbes (Owen). He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, but also taking in 8 foster children.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 25, 2021 at 1:30pm with facial covering and social distancing at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church 32747 Lake Rd, Avon Lake, OH 44012.
