He was predeceased by: his wife Bobbie; and his sister Sydney Richards. He is survived by: his sons, Thomas (Jeanine) and Jonathan Joy (Jenni); his grandchildren, Jacob Joy (Kasey), Marie Gillen (Craig) and Rebecca Joy; his sister Tamara Szarka; his niece Joy Miller (Henry); his nephew Mike Richards (Angie); his great-niece Allie Miller; his great-nephew Kyle Richards; and his close friend Carolyn Kasper.
