He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ginger and Mickey. He is survived by: his wife Beth Sweeney; and his sisters, Patricia Shields of New Jersey, Meg Sweeney of New York and Patricia Niblock of New York. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces/nephews.

Donations in his honor may be made to The Greater Cleveland Fisher House or The Alzheimer's Association.
