He was predeceased by: his wife Doris A.; and his siblings, Ruth, Earl and Clyde. He is survived by: his children, Douglas (Kathleen), Barbara Hallenburg, Carol Rulli (David) and Ann Krucek (Tom); his grandchildren, Allison (Casey), Shawn (Jenna), Thomas Robert, Kyle (Raquel) and Nicole (Jeremy); and his great grandchildren, Cadence and Everett.
